The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is 2.5 miles long and 200 feet high that offers amazing views of Charleston Harbor and downtown. It’s a beautiful bridge that is great for a run. There are six different racing groups from runners who expect to finish in under 40 minutes to walkers. The race is capped out at 40,000 participants and spots tend to sell out weeks before the race takes place. The race starts in Mt. Pleasant not too far from the Shem Creek Inn and finishes in downtown Charleston. There will be a finish festival held in Marion Square that will feature food, live entertainment and vendors.
